The Alchemist's Cottage

A stone cottage located right on the outskirts of Fayren. Because the AlcheMagia Workshop is located in the city center, it is far too small to host bigger alchemy projects. This cottage is a second branch to the workshop and it specializes in bigger projects. With a location near a river, the cottage can harness water power for its water wheel and give projects some extra power. While products are generally brought from this outer workshop to the main shop for selling, patrons can choose to travel to the cottage for larger orders. The cottage also specializes in a different world's alchemy, which allows for different creations.

Basically: The main workshop is where you buy things, and the cottage is where the fanciest things are made.

 

Building Specs

Two Stories; 

• Upper Level is for the public. Alchemy projects-in-progress are on display and there is a balcony for customers to wait on.

• Lower Level is for material storage, and living. Because alchemy is a 24/7 process, it's important that the employees can stay overnight and live near their projects. While there is a large stone cellar for storing materials, the majority of this floor is arranged like a one-room apartment.

Employees

• Branch Manager/Head Alchemist: They will take 90% of the profits. Silicon is more excited about expanding alchemy than profiting from it.
• Delivery Person: They will deliver products between the stores, and make personal deliveries to one's house at a small extra charge.
• Apprentice: They will be able to learn alchemy with the Head Alchemist. Due to the long commute, there will only be one apprentice here at a time.
• Out of Town Supplier: They will be in charge of acquiring materials from other towns, as well as advertising/arranging orders with people from outside Fayren.
